Clifton & District Tennis Association Inc is an active and progressive tennis club located in the beautiful South Region of the Darling Downs in Toowoomba Regional, Australia. The club was established in 1948 and has since grown to become a hub for tennis enthusiasts in the area.
The club takes pride in its facilities, which feature four recently renovated synthetic courts. These courts are equipped with new LED lighting, allowing for games to be played at all hours. The original clubhouse of the association continues to undergo improvements and provides an office, amenities, and an excellent canteen facility for the convenience of members and visitors.
The Clifton & District Tennis Association offers a variety of programmes and events for the community to enjoy. Ladies Social Tennis is held on Tuesdays at 7:00 am, providing a friendly and social environment for women to play and enjoy the sport. Additionally, Ladies Fixtures take place on Tuesdays at 8:30 am, allowing women to compete against each other in a more competitive setting. Senior Fixtures are held on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm, providing an opportunity for seniors to showcase their skills and compete in a friendly atmosphere.
Junior Fixtures are held on Fridays at 4:00 pm, providing young players the chance to compete and develop their skills.
Throughout the week, the club offers coaching programmes delivered by a qualified coach. These coaching sessions provide players of all ages and skill levels the opportunity to improve their game and learn from experienced professionals.
