Founded in 2008 as Cheetahs Cricket Club, by group of friends who loved their cricket to the core, The team played the game of cricket for leisure and fun. Later moved in to competitive level 2011 and started playing short form matches. But the team grown quickly in a short space of time that competes at Parramatta District Cricket Association as a member of Sydney Supersonics Sports Club. Finished as Semi-Finalists in first season (2012-13) and Grand finalists in next summer (2013-14).
Even though the team couldn't win the topship, the entire season was a great success for Cheetahs family. By June 2014 Cheetahs Cricket Club committed itself to reach the community through sports under the name of Cheetahs Sports Club with 30 members initially. Club has 3 competitive cricket teams playing in various grades at Parramatta and Northern District region. Matches/Practise sessions will be held every Sunday throughout the year, primarily in Parramatta region.
Club welcomes newcomers and sports enthusiasts alike.
