Join Cessnock Pistol Club, individuals must be 12 years or older and can apply to become a member. Junior members under the age of 18 can also join but must shoot under supervision. The club's facilities are world-class and located in the lower Hunter Valley, just outside Cessnock in New South Wales. The range boasts eight ranges, including five 25m ranges, two 50m ranges, and a 10m air pistol range. The ranges are equipped to accommodate matches in ISSF, Action, Pistol Australia, small-bore, and black powder rifle disciplines. Each range is designed to provide comfortable shooting in any weather condition, with undercover shooting, observation, and target areas.
Cessnock Pistol Club has hosted several state championships, as well as four Pistol Australia ISSF/PA National Championships in 2009, 2012, 2014, and 2017. Additionally, the club holds three open shoots each year: the Wine Country black powder competition in February, the Vintage ISSF competition in March, and the Haywood Open in August.
