Welcome to Cessnock Clay Target Club, located in the beautiful Cessnock City Council region of Australia. Our club is dedicated to the sport of clay target shooting and provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for shooters of all levels of experience.
At Cessnock Clay Target Club, we have 5 traphouses that offer our members and visitors an excellent backdrop for highly visible targets, making your shooting experience more enjoyable. We have 5 Gemini's traps that allow us to deliver normal DTL, Continental, and Double Rise targets. We have also installed a Ball Trap layout for added variety in your shooting sessions.
If you're interested in trying your hand at this thrilling and fast-moving target sport, we invite you to join us on our practise day, held every Tuesday at 10am and 3pm, or for our competition DTL shoots, which take place on the 4th Saturday of every month. Our friendly members will be more than happy to introduce you to a sport that requires concentration and coordination, but is suitable for individuals of any age, even if you do not have a firearm licence.
Speaking of firearm licences, if you are looking to attain one, our club has two members who are qualified to test you as part of the requirements to obtain a gun licence. So drop in and say hello, and allow us to introduce you to the exciting world of clay target shooting.
In addition to our regular shooting activities, Cessnock Clay Target Club also offers corporate/function shoots and HDHC shoots. Whether you're planning a corporate event, a special celebration, or just a fun day out with friends, clay target shooting provides a unique and exhilarating experience.
