Central Netball Club

Central Netball Club Inc is a well-established sports club located at Charlestown Netball courts in Newcastle. The club provides support and opportunities for individuals of all ages and skill levels to participate in netball.

Proudly sponsored by Central Charlestown Leagues Club, Central Netball Club Inc offers a welcoming and inclusive environment for players to develop their skills, build relationships, and enjoy the sport of netball.

The club is currently accepting registrations for the upcoming 2023 season. Interested individuals can click on the registration tab on our website to find more details and complete the registration process.

For NetSetGo registrations, which are for children under the age of 10, a separate registration link is provided. For all other registrations, for individuals aged 10 and above, a different link is given.

In the event of wet weather, all relevant information can be found on the Charlestown Netball Association website or can be conveniently accessed through the association's dedicated app.

Regarding the registration process for the 2023 season, the club reminds potential players that registration fees are determined by the age the player will be turning in 2023, while umpiring fees are based on the grade in which the player will be participating. The final decision for team grading rests with the Charlestown Netball Association.

The club offers various registration fees based on different age groups. For NetSetGo participants, the registration fee is $180, excluding umpiring fees. Junior players (ages 10-13) have a registration fee of $190, with an additional $30 fee for umpiring. Intermediate and cadet players (ages 14-17) also have a $190 registration fee, with different umpiring fees of $40 and $70 respectively.

Senior players (18 years and above) have a registration fee of $225, along with a $70 umpiring fee.

For non-players who wish to be a part of Central Netball Club, a separate registration fee of $55 is applicable, and interested individuals can contact the club's registrar for further information.

Payment of fees can be made via electronic funds transfer using the provided account details. The club also offers the convenience of ordering uniforms online during the registration process. For those who have already registered but have not ordered uniforms, they can contact the club's treasurer for assistance. Second-hand uniforms may sometimes be available, and information regarding this can be found on the club's Facebook page.

Alternate uniform options can be discussed by reaching out to the secretary.

Central Netball Club Inc is proud to have a wide range of teams for participants to join. These teams are categorised as Net Set GO, Junior, Intermediate, Cadet, and Senior. Examples of team names from the 2022 season include Candy Canes, Canaries, Charlies Angles, Calypso, Caution, and many more.
