The Central Coast Badminton Club prides itself on being a very open social club that welcomes anyone who wants to play. Whether you are a beginner looking to learn the sport or an experienced player hoping to improve your game, our club offers the facilities and tools to meet your needs.
We have 4 badminton courts located at Henry Kendall High School in Gosford, offering plenty of space for players of all levels. Our club holds 3 social sessions per week, providing ample opportunities for members to play and socialise. We welcome players of all levels to participate in all sessions.
In addition to our social sessions, we also organise competitive tournaments in partnership with Hunter Badminton and the NSW Badminton Association. As an affiliated club under the NSWBA, our members are eligible to participate in sanctioned events. Furthermore, our club provides sports insurance under the NSWBA, ensuring that our members and temporary visitors are covered under our sports insurance scheme.
If you are new to the sport of badminton and would like to know more, feel free to reach out to us through message or simply drop by during one of our sessions. For regular updates and information, we encourage you to subscribe to our email newsletter or join our Facebook page.
When it comes to playing, our sessions are held at Henry Kendall High School. Please note that your GPS may have some difficulty finding the exact street address, so we recommend consulting the photo and map provided on our website.
The session fees for our club are $8 for members and $12 for non-members or casual players. Bookings are not required, and shuttles are provided.
If you have any questions or would like to know more, we have a frequently asked questions section on our website. Additionally, you can contact us through the provided contact information.
Membership to the club is not required for social play, so if you are new to the sport or the area, you are welcome to come along to one of our sessions and try it out. Just make sure to bring proper non-marking court shoes, a water bottle, and a badminton racket.
We also encourage all players to consider becoming members of the club. Being a member comes with numerous benefits, such as discounted playing fees, personal sports injury insurance, and access to club competitions and other Badminton NSW sanctioned competitions. Membership fees also help support the club in various ways, such as obtaining public liability insurance, improving venues and facilities, providing more social and competitive playing time, and developing skill development programmes for juniors and adults. Additionally, membership fees contribute to the growth and development of badminton on the Central Coast through initiatives and activities supported by Badminton NSW.
By joining Central Coast Badminton Club, you are not only benefiting yourself but also contributing to the growth and promotion of badminton in our local community and region.
