The CPA is uniquely positioned as a gateway between Perth and the greater Gascoyne region. CPA enables the ongoing servicing and professional development for a wide range of professionals which require firearm safety awareness certification, firearm safety inspections and firearm serviceability. The club facilities are required and utilised by the Police force, the armed forces, professional shooters, explosive experts, competitive shooters, the local community & training facilitators.
Our association has hosted the Western Australian state titles selections for the IPSCWA. Both the state and national competitive teams within this federally accredited sport have utilised our facilities. CPA provides the only range in Western Australia that national competitors may train to the international standard using the required high calibre projectiles. Our range caters for the WAPOL training using their state issued firearms calibres.
Furthermore high calibre training fosters and develops competitors from our State to an international level. The CPA endorses both the professional standards mandated through legislation and the competitive advocates of this internationally recognised sporting practise. Its significant contribution to both working professionals and sportsmen alike can be clearly observed through the ongoing support CPA has from the community at large.
