The Cairns Netball Association is the leading netball club in Cairns, offering a range of positive netball opportunities for individuals of all ages and gender. From 4-year-olds to seniors, men to women, boys to girls, our club provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone to enjoy the sport.

Netball is rapidly growing in popularity in Cairns, and we are proud to be at the forefront of this growth. It is one of the highest participated sports for both juniors and females in the region. Our netball competition takes place over two nights, with Tuesday dedicated to our juniors from CairnsNet to Junior Division 1 and Wednesday reserved for our Senior Divisions 1 to 5.

At Cairns Netball Association, we not only focus on providing playing opportunities but also offer training and development programmes for volunteers in coaching, umpiring, scoring, and administration. We believe in nurturing our volunteers' skills and providing them with the necessary tools to contribute to our netball community.

Our facilities are top-notch, with the largest netball facility upgrade in the Far North Region. We have expanded from 6 hard courts to 16 hard courts, ensuring ample space for all our teams and players. To add to that, we have 250 car spaces and a brand new clubhouse. In 2019, we further improved our facility by covering 4 out of our 16 hard courts with a roof, making us unique among netball associations in the region.

If you're interested in joining our club, we offer different seasons throughout the year. Our winter season, running from March to September, provides a competitive platform for seasoned players to showcase their skills. On the other hand, our summer season, which runs from October to November, offers a more relaxed and social atmosphere for those who want to enjoy netball in a fun setting.

For our youngest players, we have the CairnsNet programme, specifically designed for children aged 5-10. This programme serves as a perfect introduction to the sport, where experienced coaches focus on teaching the basics and developing the skills of our young players.
