The Cairns Game Fishing Club was formed with its innagural meeting held on the 25th January, 1965 and will soon be celebrating its 50th Anniversary. These days the club resides at the Cock n Bull Tavern where a large collection of proud history and Cairns marlin fishing memorabilia is on display.
