CSU Reddies Rugby Club

70th year since the establishment of the Wagga Reddies Rugby Club. We have a rich history and have been a proud member of the Southern Inland Rugby Competition since our inception in 1947. Our club has seen success over the years, with multiple championships and a strong presence in the rugby community.

The Wagga Reddies Rugby Club is not only known for our sporting prowess, but also for our family-friendly atmosphere. We welcome players of all skill levels and have a number of notable players who joined us with no prior rugby experience. Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the sport, you'll find a place at the Reddies.

Our club fields three senior teams – 1st grade, 2nd grade, and women's 10s – in the Southern Inland Rugby Union competition. Both male and female players are invited to join the Reddies and be a part of our tight-knit community. We also have a strong focus on junior rugby and actively contribute to the development of the next generation of rugby players in the area.

Training and playing take place at Beres Ellwood Oval, located within the grounds of Charles Sturt University, Wagga. We hold training sessions every Wednesday and Friday at 6:00 pm. Feel free to come down and join us for a training session, regardless of the time of year. We welcome new players anytime and believe that anytime is a good time to join the Reddies.

Off the field, we host a variety of social events to create a vibrant and fun-filled club culture. From bus trips to balls, the Reddies know how to have a good time. These events provide an opportunity for players and their families to bond and create lifelong friendships that extend beyond the rugby field.
