The Bunbury Runners Club began in the early 1980s and has continued to grow since then. We have a long history of organising running events and of participating in events run by other clubs, both locally and internationally. While we have many champion runners among our members we also welcome beginners and encourage walkers and are a very diverse group. We have over 200 members aged from 1 to 80 and have approximately equal numbers of male and female members.
We run 52 weeks a year – rain, hail or shine although some of our members are more dedicated than others! Some have been running for 60 years and some have only just started. If you are new to the South West or new to running or want to meet people with similar interests to you, you are very welcome to came and join us any Thursday as a visitor. Mission Provide members and the community at large, with regular opportunities to improve their health and social wellbeing through organised running and walking events. By supplying a supportive environment to our running community, this allows members to grow skills and confidence to achieve to the best of their ability.
