Brush Farm Dog Training Club Inc

Brush Farm Dog Training Club is a voluntary organisation which serves to promote the sport of Dog Obedience. Over the years this ethos has been extended to help pet dog owners train their dogs to be well-behaved companions. We train the handler to train the dog by using positive instruction and positive reinforcement.

Training over time, for just one hour each Sunday afternoon, will give you the skills to teach your dog to walk politely beside you (“heel”), “sit”, ” stand”, and “drop” on command as well as retrieve and perform rudimentary tricks. The added self-control that comes to well-trained dogs is demonstrated by their ability to “stay” on their post until released by the handler. As the handler and the dog progress, your canine friend will learn to be a well-behaved member of your family who can be taken into the community without concern.
