Little Athletics is a place where children from all walks of life come together to discover their passion for athletics and develop lifelong skills in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Established in 1986, Browns Plains Little Athletics Centre has been a cornerstone of the local community, providing a platform for children aged 3 to 16 to participate in various track and field events. Our mission is to foster a love for sports and encourage personal growth, teamwork, and sportsmanship among our athletes. We believe that every child has untapped potential waiting to be unleashed.

Our dedicated team of coaches and volunteers are committed to nurturing this potential by providing expert guidance, training, and opportunities for our athletes to shine. From sprints to jumps, throws to relays, our comprehensive programme covers a wide range of events, ensuring that every child finds their niche and discovers the joy of athletic achievement.

In terms of registration, the full registrations for our 2023/2024 season of athletics will close on the 9th December 2023. However, tryout registrations will still be accepted after this date. Online registration is available, and payment can be made online or at the clubhouse.

For those interested in using Fair Play Vouchers, please ensure they are presented to our club by the 2nd December 2023. Vouchers presented after this date will not be accepted.

Tryouts will continue to be conducted throughout the season, and a small fee of $20. 00 per child applies for a 2-week trial. If you wish to fully register after the trial, this fee will be deducted from your registration fees.

We also participate in various competitions, and all the necessary information can be found under the “COMPETITIONS” tab on our website. Nominations for these competitions need to be lodged and paid through the Results HQ portal, except Regional Relays, State Relays, and State Championships.

In case of wet weather, we will post updates on our new Facebook page by 7am on the Saturday morning of the competition. Be sure to follow us for the latest information.
