Broome Soccer Association (BSA) is a thriving sports club located in Broome, Western Australia. Offering a range of soccer programmes for players of all ages and skill levels, BSA is committed to fostering a community of soccer enthusiasts in an inclusive and supportive environment.
For the little ones, BSA provides MiniRoos, a programme specifically designed for children ages 7-11. Held during certain times of the year, this programme offers the perfect introduction to soccer, allowing young players to develop their skills while having fun.
BSA's junior programme is suitable for boys and girls aged 7-11. Held every Wednesday night during school terms one, two, and four, this programme offers structured training sessions from 4:45pm-6pm. With volunteer coaches leading the sessions, players have the opportunity to improve their skills and meet new friends in a community-minded atmosphere.
Youth soccer at BSA is tailored for ages 12-16 and runs during school terms one and four. Training sessions take place on Wednesdays from 4:30pm-6pm, with games played on Fridays from 4:30pm-6pm. Led by dedicated volunteer coaches, this programme not only helps players improve their soccer abilities but also instils important values of teamwork and sportsmanship.
BSA is also actively developing a talent development programme aimed at nurturing the most skilled young players in the community.
For adults ages 16 and above, BSA offers casual senior soccer games every Wednesday night from 6pm. Players of all skill levels are welcome to join and participate in friendly matches. Those interested in joining can reach out via the 'contact us' section of the BSA website. Please note that there is a $5 pay-to-play fee for the adults' soccer session.
All junior and youth soccer sessions are held at Father McMahon Oval, located behind BRAC (Broome Recreation and Aquatic Centre). The adult soccer games also take place at Father McMahon Oval.
