Brisbane Girls Grammar School

On 15 March 1875, Brisbane Girls Grammar School opened for lessons in a two-storey house with just fifty students. It was one of the first schools to offer girls the same educational opportunities as their brothers. Since those early days, thousands of girls have passed through the gates and the School has established an international reputation for both educational leadership and personal achievement by young women.
