Welcome to the Brisbane and GPS Rowing Club, a prestigious sports club with a rich history of rowing on the Brisbane River since 1885. The club offers various programmes to cater to different age groups and skill levels, ensuring there's something for everyone.

Additionally, masters who wish to train and compete occasionally are encouraged to join the Masters programme.

Safety on the Brisbane River is of utmost importance to the Brisbane and GPS Rowing Club. Members are familiar with the safety requirements, and visual reminders are provided through river safety videos created in collaboration with associated organisations such as RQ and MSQ, Transdev. These videos highlight the risks associated with rowing and emphasise the importance of following correct procedures while on the river.
For the convenience of members, the club maintains a presence on various social media platforms. Individuals can access GPS Facebook pages to view images and stay updated on recent club material. Additionally, members can make boat bookings through the GPS Rowing Club website by following the provided link and sending the booking request to boatbookings@brisbanegpsrowing. au.
As the club is located on the Brisbane River, the tidal schedule is essential to ensure safe rowing. The club provides access to tide predictions from the Brisbane Port Office through a link on its website. It's worth noting that the club pontoon's tides are approximately 45 minutes later than those of the Port Office, so members can add 45 minutes to the Port Office times for accurate tide predictions at the GPS pontoon.
For detailed information on membership, the Learn to Row programme, or any other inquiries, individuals can visit the club's website and access relevant sections or contact the club directly. The Brisbane and GPS Rowing Club values member privacy and has implemented a Privacy Policy to ensure the protection of personal information.
