With a proud history spanning over fifty-two years, Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC is one of the oldest and most respected football clubs in Australia. Our origins date back to 1968 when a group of Serbian immigrants founded the club as Avala Sports Club. They brought with them an unwavering passion for the game of football and a desire to share it with their new home in Australia. Since then, BWE FC has become synonymous with excellence both on and off the field.
Throughout our history, we have achieved numerous NPL premierships and championships, establishing ourselves as a force to be reckoned with in Australian football. Our club has been instrumental in nurturing and developing talented players who have gone on to make their mark in both national and international competitions. From current Socceroo and Red Star Belgrade defender Milos Degenek to Danny Vukovic, who has represented the national team and had a successful career in the A-League and Europe, our club has a proven track record of producing top-notch talent.
