The club regularly organises BMX race series, with their upcoming Race 11 set to take place on November 11, 2023. The event will run from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, featuring a sign-on and rider warm-up session for participants of all ages. The racing schedule includes different categories such as Mini Wheelers and Sprockets, catering to the diverse needs and abilities of riders. The entry fee is $10 per rider, with a discounted rate of $25 for three or more riders.
Blue Mountains BMX Club utilises MyLaps Transponders to score their racing in 2023. Although these devices are not mandatory for club races, they are required for those who wish to be part of the club series. Volunteers are also highly encouraged to assist with various tasks such as setting up the track, managing sign-on, operating the canteen, and ensuring the smooth running of the races.
To ensure the safety of all participants, the club imposes specific clothing requirements. Riders must wear a long sleeve top tucked into long-legged pants, socks that cover the ankle bone, shoes with a non-slip sole or clipless pedals, full-finger gloves, and a full-face helmet.
