Blind Sports Australia (BSA) is a national sporting organisation based in Melbourne that focuses on providing opportunities and pathways for blind and vision-impaired individuals to participate in sports. Blind Sports Australia has been supporting blind and vision-impaired sports since its establishment in 1980, accumulating over forty years of experience in the field. The organisation is dedicated to providing opportunities, resources, and support to blind athletes, enabling them to excel in their chosen sports.
BSA has recently teamed up with Vision Australia to support blind and low vision athletes in the upcoming 2023 IBSA World Blind Games. This partnership aims to provide necessary assistance and resources to athletes participating in the games. Additionally, BSA is actively involved in various international events, highlighting the organisation's commitment to promoting blind and vision-impaired sports on a global scale.
