Blackburn Football Club, located in Melbourne, has a long and rich history of almost 100 years in senior football. However, our involvement in junior football has been more recent. Our goal is to make the Blackburn Football Club Juniors the preferred place for children in Blackburn and neighbouring suburbs to develop their football skills and play in an environment that encourages family involvement.
The club is proud to have a dedicated team of coaches for our junior boys. Led by head coaches Glen Whitehead and Terence Peters, our highly qualified coaches are committed to nurturing the talent of our young players. We have teams for age groups ranging from under 8s to under 17s, with each team having their own appointed coaches. Our coaches focus on creating a positive and supportive environment for our players, fostering their skills, teamwork, and love for the sport.
In addition to our junior boys' teams, we also have a thriving junior girls programme. In 2023, we entered over 150 players in six girls teams across every age group. We are passionate about providing opportunities for girls to participate and excel in football. Our junior girls' teams have dedicated coaches who are committed to empowering our young female players and helping them reach their full potential.
