Bendigo East Swimming Club (BESC) is a long-standing sports club located in Bendigo, Victoria. With over 100 years of history, the club has become an integral part of the Bendigo community and welcomes individuals from the greater Bendigo region to join them in their swimming endeavours.

Additionally, the club's experienced squad swimmers often compete in Country (Regional), State, or even National events, with some of their highest achievers being selected for State and National teams. BESC aims to challenge swimmers and provide them with valuable experience, all within a nurturing environment.
Training takes place at the Bendigo East Aquatic Centre on Lansell Street, Bendigo East. The pool, which has been in operation for over 110 years, features a 50m outdoor pool heated to approximately 28 degrees. This allows training to occur year-round, surrounded by beautiful natural surroundings.
Joining BESC means becoming a part of a friendly community that extends to families from Bendigo, Castlemaine, Heathcote, and the surrounding districts. Many swimmers in the club attend local schools and universities, with some even pursuing careers as pool lifeguards or swimming teachers at local swimming centres.
If interested in becoming a member, BESC offers trial sessions to help swimmers determine whether the club is the right fit for them. Squad levels are available to cater to every ability, with training sessions offered throughout the week. Depending on the squad, training may take place in the morning, afternoon, both, and/or Saturday morning.
