The Bega Roosters or tri-colours as they are sometimes referred to were formed in 1960, following the merger of Bega Rovers & Best West.
Over the years the club has been blessed with some dedicated servants who have been awarded life membership John Ahkin, Ray Kennedy, Peter Turner, Henry Lucas, Steven Meaker, Graham Hazelgrove, David Jauncey, Pat Kilkelly, Geoff Lucas and not to mention some who we have lost in Jim Eadie, Nev Littler & Phil Ringland. It is the efforts of these people that has built the Roosters into the pride of Bega and sees the club held in high regard by all associated with Rugby League.
