Until 2008, Beacon supported two cricket teams, Beacon Cricket Club & Wialki Cricket Club. Both these teams have been very successful over the many years since their formation in the 1930s. Beacon/Wialki merged in 2008 and continued their success in the Central Wheatbelt Cricket Association (CWCA) competition until 2011.
