Barden Ridgebacks Football Club

Barden Ridgebacks Football Club, located in the Sutherland Shire Council of New South Wales, is a well-established and highly-respected sports club with a rich history. The club was formed at its inaugural meeting on October 15, 1996, and was incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act (NSW) 1984 on July 23, 1997. Barden Ridgebacks FC is an affiliate of the Sutherland Shire Junior Soccer Football Association Inc. , which, in turn, is an affiliate of the NSW Amateur Soccer Federation.

The club has a dedicated committee that oversees its operation and ensures that it operates in line with its objectives and values. The first committee, consisting of Paul Lehane as President, Bob Campany as Vice President, Phil Clancy as Secretary, Jeff Mazzarella as Registrar, Jeff Stewart as Treasurer, and Scott Whittaker, Jan Goodyear, Debbie Arkle, Michael Downey, and Scott Howard as committee members, laid the foundation for the effective management and growth of the club.

The club's Code of Conduct, introduced by the committee in the 2000 winter season, emphasises key principles such as encouraging fair play, adhering to the laws of the game, respecting opponents, officials, and spectators, playing to the best of one's ability, accepting defeat with dignity, and never resorting to violence.
