Ballarat Pony Club

We are a group of about 70 families that enjoy a range of equestrian sports, and love coming together for our monthly rallies. Our riders range in age from five to twenty-five, and we are pleased to have such a diverse range of interests and abilities.

We run our rallies in four one hour blocks throughout the day, and divide our members into groups that fit with the child’s needs. Our lunchtime “Muster” is a great way of keeping a connexion between our younger and older riders thereby strengthening the bonds of friendship and mentorship that make our club strong.

Our rallies offer instruction in dressage, showjumping and cross country, as well as polocrosse, mounted games, horse health, and show preparation. We strive to introduce other aspects of horsemanship through guest speakers/demonstrations/instructors at a couple of rallies each year.
