Welcome to Australian Dance Enterprises, a local sports club offering dance classes for all ages in Guyra, Armidale, and Uralla. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, ADE provides a fun and stress-free environment for you to learn and enjoy dancing.
Enrolling is easy! Simply fill out the form on our website and email it to us or bring it into the studio. We offer a variety of dance styles and have a team of dedicated teachers who are passionate about sharing their love for dance.
Our dance programmes cater to different age groups and skill levels. For our youngest dancers, we have the Ready Set Dance class, which combines jazz, tap, hip hop, singing, and music. This class is suitable for children aged 2–5 years.
We also offer Creative Dance classes for preschoolers aged 3–6 years, allowing them to experience dance for the first time in a fun and non-threatening environment. The music used in these classes is age-appropriate and includes popular children's songs and expressive music for free dance.
Jazz dance is one of our most popular styles, and we offer classes for children aged 6 and above, as well as adults. These classes also incorporate elements of hip hop, lyrical jazz, and modern dance. We also have an Advanced Jazz class for experienced dancers who are looking for a more serious dance programme.
In addition to jazz, we offer Plie Groove 'n Shuffle, which focuses on the foundations, skills, and technique of classical ballet, jazz, and tap for students aged 5–9 years. Our tap classes are taught using the Glenn Wood Tap Syllabus, providing a fun and refreshing approach to learning tap dance.
For students interested in taking exams, we offer Exam Jazz classes that follow the Australian Dance Vision (ADV) syllabus. These classes require students to attend more than once a week and follow the Australian Dance Assessment Programme (ADAP).
At Australian Dance Enterprises, we believe in providing a well-rounded dance education in a supportive and inclusive environment. Our classes have specific dress requirements, such as black jazz pants or bike tights, purple or black leotards or singlet tops, and styled hair in a ponytail or bun.
