In honour of his contributions, Paul O'Brien Oval was named after him in 1999. His legacy has been continued by his wife, Rosslyn O'Brien, who remained an active member of the club until her passing in 2022.

Aspley Little Athletics offers a range of facilities to support the training and competitions of its athletes. These facilities include a 10-lane 400m grass running track, various throwing cages, long jump and high jump areas with synthetic surfaces, javelin runways, and equipment for hurdles and relay events. The club is also able to provide additional equipment, such as BBQs, a canteen, and portable gazebos, for school athletics carnivals or training sessions upon request.
