Over the years we have grown to having teams in the Turf, Grass, and Masters Competition. In 2015, Ascot had 8 teams in the BWHA competition. These teams included Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, Division 4, Grass DP1,Grass DP2, Grass DP5 and Monday Masters 1 and Monday Masters 2. Ascot Women’s Hockey Club junior players come from our feeder club Arana Ascot Junior Hockey Club, which field teams from Under 7’s through to Junior Turf in the Brisbane Women’s Hockey competition.
We have been very honoured to have players and officials from our club that have represented Brisbane, Queensland and Australia, including current players Sara Rogers, Merinda McMahon and new signing for club for 2016 and 2017 Angie Lambert.
Our turf teams train at the State Hockey Centre, Colmslie and our grass teams will move to a new facility at tramway street, Ferny Grove.
