The trail running in the Victorian Alpine area is superb. You can run hundreds of kilometres of singletrack and chase some of Australia's highest summits. I have lived in Mt Beauty since 2002 and have run, hiked or Mountain Biked almost every trail in the Alpine National Park. I also spent 5 years on the Parks Victoria Fire Crew clearing and maintaining these trails.
