During this time, the water slide is in operation on weekends and public holidays from 1pm to 4pm, providing added excitement for visitors. Please note that ASALC is closed for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Good Friday.

During winter, from 1 May to 31 August, ASALC operates with slightly adjusted hours. Weekdays are from 6am to 6:30pm, and weekends and public holidays are from 9am to 3pm. However, it's important to be aware that the outdoor 50-metre pool may be temporarily closed for annual maintenance during this period. ASALC is also closed for Alice Springs Show Day, which falls on a Friday.

The facilities at ASALC are top-notch and designed to cater to the needs of all patrons. The outdoor area features a 50-metre pool, a splash pad, and a learn-to-swim pool. Indoors, there is an 8-lane, 25-metre heated swimming lap pool and a 20-metre pool with beach entry, a disabled ramp, an indoor spa, a lazy river, and a 4-lane learn-to-swim section. Two fun water slides, including a single loop and a double loop, add an element of thrill to the experience.
