During winter, from 1 May to 31 August, ASALC operates with slightly adjusted hours. Weekdays are from 6am to 6:30pm, and weekends and public holidays are from 9am to 3pm. However, it's important to be aware that the outdoor 50-metre pool may be temporarily closed for annual maintenance during this period. ASALC is also closed for Alice Springs Show Day, which falls on a Friday.
The facilities at ASALC are top-notch and designed to cater to the needs of all patrons. The outdoor area features a 50-metre pool, a splash pad, and a learn-to-swim pool. Indoors, there is an 8-lane, 25-metre heated swimming lap pool and a 20-metre pool with beach entry, a disabled ramp, an indoor spa, a lazy river, and a 4-lane learn-to-swim section.
