Adelaide University Boat Club (AUBC) is an esteemed sports club in Adelaide, Australia, with a proud history dating back to its founding in 1881. The club is dedicated to fostering the athletic development of individuals from all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. AUBC boasts two state-of-the-art facilities to cater to its members' needs: a two-storey boat shed, and function space situated on War Memorial Drive, as well as a boat shed located at West Lakes.
At AUBC, there are diverse membership options available to cater to both rowers and non-rowers alike. Even if you're no longer interested in actively participating in rowing, the club welcomes individuals to join as social members.
1. Senior Membership ($650): This membership grants rowing enthusiasts access to boats, gym facilities, coaching and mentoring, customised gym programmes, bi-annual magazines, social invitations, and reduced rates for venue hire.
2. Junior/School Leavers Membership ($490): This membership is exclusively for current high school students who will graduate in November 2023 or later. Junior members enjoy the same privileges as rowing members. Further information can be obtained by contacting captain@aubc.

3. Torrens Facility/Gym Membership ($490): AUBC's gym facility has recently undergone a complete refurbishment. This membership allows individuals access to the gym at the Barr Smith Boatshed from 6am to 9pm. Benefits include new free weights equipment, change room and shower facilities, rowing machines, a powerful sound system, 46" LCD screens, pin code access, and reduced rates for venue hire.
4. SASI Membership ($325): This membership is exclusively available to athletes who are on Full SASI (South Australian Sports Institute) rowing scholarships. As AUBC accommodates the reduced use of club equipment by SASI members, the membership rate is adjusted accordingly. SASI members enjoy the same privileges as rowing members, including boat access, gym access, coaching and mentoring, gym programmes, bi-annual magazines, social invitations, and reduced rates for venue hire.
5. Coxswain Membership: This membership is specifically designed for coxswains of the club.
