Whether you're looking for a premium experience under our spacious awnings or a more relaxed setting under the palms, we have options to suit every preference.
For those seeking the ultimate bowling experience, our Premium Green offers an all-inclusive package for $40 per person, which includes a 4-hour period of bowling. The minimum group size for this option is 60 people, and private use of the patio area is provided, accommodating over 100 guests.
If you prefer a more casual setting, our Functions Green option includes a 3-hour period of bowling for $35 per person. The minimum group size for this option is 25 people, and you have access to the charming palms area for relaxation and enjoyment.
For smaller groups or those looking for a quick game of bowls, our Casual Bowls Green is the perfect choice. For just $25 per person, you can enjoy a 2-hour period of bowling under the sunshine or lights. All equipment is provided, and online bookings require a minimum of 8 people. Allocated seating for up to 10 guests beside your lane is included.
Our site map illustrates the different areas available for booking and the corresponding costs per rink. Each green has 8 lanes, and our system will allocate you 1 lane for every 10 people in your group. We can accommodate groups as large as 250 guests, and additional arrangements can be made for exclusive use of the meeting room, which can seat up to 70 people.
To enhance your experience at the Adelaide Bowling Club, we offer in-house catering services provided by Food Man Chew. Our catering menu showcases a variety of delicious options to satisfy your hunger during your visit.
Getting to the Adelaide Bowling Club is easy. We are located in the Eastern Parklands, just a few minutes' walk from East Tce, with vehicle access off Dequetteville Tce. Ample parking is available in the adjoining council car park, and there are alternate spots nearby on Capper St or Rundle and Bartels Rd. Public transport options include bus stops X1 or C1, with the Botanic Gardens tram stop a short 5-minute walk away.
The Adelaide Bowling Club has a rich history, with seventeen gentlemen forming the first bowls club in South Australia in 1897. Over a century later, we continue to thrive as SA's leading sports club for bowls, offering a fantastic venue for both players and visitors to enjoy.
