ATI Martial Arts & Taekwondo - Attadale is a reputable sports club located in Perth, Western Australia. With over 30 years of experience in martial arts instruction, ATI Martial Arts is one of the largest martial arts businesses in the country. The club is committed to providing a safe, disciplined, and inspirational environment for practitioners of all ages and skill levels.
Founded by Mr Tony Curtis and Mr Rodney Lockyer, both 8th Dan practitioners, ATI Martial Arts has expanded to include four full-time schools and 14 satellite branches throughout the Perth Metro Area, as well as locations in Broome and the Sunshine Coast. The club boasts a dedicated staff of over 30 instructors, including international medallists and high-level competitors, all of whom are graduates of the ATI Martial Arts Certification Programme.
ATI Martial Arts places a strong emphasis on the safety and training of children. The club offers specialised programmes for kids aged 3 and up, designed to align with their physical, intellectual, and emotional development. These programmes not only teach martial arts techniques but also focus on important life skills such as child anti-abduction skills and “Stranger Danger”. In fact, Child Abduction and Stranger Danger training is one of the cornerstones of the club's junior programme.
In addition to their kids' programmes, ATI Martial Arts also offers a variety of classes for adults. Whether individuals are looking to lose weight, tone up, socialise, or become serious martial artists, the club provides a range of options to cater to different goals and interests. They offer classes in various disciplines, including Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Kickboxing, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
For women who prefer to train in a female-only environment, ATI Martial Arts offers women's only classes taught by female instructors. These classes provide a comfortable and supportive space for women to get fit, tone their bodies, and learn self-defence techniques.
