

The ACT Equestrian Association (ACTEA) is a sports club based in Canberra, Australia. Established in 1970, ACTEA acts as an umbrella organisation for all equestrians in the Canberra region, representing 20 affiliated groups such as pony clubs, showjumping, trail riding, dressage, horse trials, and endurance.
The main objectives of ACTEA are to promote horse riding as a recognised healthy recreational activity, facilitate the development of equestrian facilities in the ACT, support affiliated associations and clubs in obtaining and improving equipment and facilities, enhance the standard of horsemanship in the ACT, promote the views of the equestrian public, and encourage the support of equestrian activities by the Commonwealth and ACT Government, as well as other individuals and organisations.
ACTEA holds monthly meetings on the second Thursday of each month at the Weston Club on 1 Liardet Street, Weston. Representatives from affiliated clubs are always welcome to attend these meetings.
