At A1 Dance Studio, dancers of all ages and abilities are welcomed into a fun and non-competitive environment. With classes in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz, students have the opportunity to develop self-esteem, confidence, and a love for dance. The studio, which has been operating since 1999, is proud to be an Active and Creative Kids provider, offering eligible students vouchers of up to $300 per year. Catering to both boys and girls, A1 Dance Studio offers classes for all age groups, starting from 2 years old.

The energetic Preschool ballet and jazz classes focus on developing gross motor skills, rhythm, and coordination, incorporating various props to encourage active participation. Ballet classes taught at A1 Dance Studio encompass a combination of RAD, Cecchetti, and ADA syllabuses, promoting balance, flexibility, and a sense of self-confidence and grace. Jazz and Tap classes are a great way to increase fitness, coordination, musicality, and social skills. Students enjoy learning the steps and combinations that become the dances they perform in festivals and the annual concert.

A1 Dance Studio is led by Principal and Founder Alison Hudson. With a background in the Cecchetti Method of classical ballet, Alison brings her passion for dance and her commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment to the studio. Every year, the studio explores different themes within the ballet classes, promoting creativity and individual expression. A1 Dance Studio also engages in annual charity fundraisers and supports a child in Ethiopia through World Vision, fostering social awareness and responsibility.
