This course is specifically designed for intermediate to advanced climbers who want to push their limits and take on some of the most extensive winter climbing cliffs in the country. Located at the foot of the North Face of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain hut in the British Isles sets the perfect backdrop for your climbing adventure.
The course takes place during late winter when the snow and ice conditions are optimal for climbing. To kick things off, participants will meet on Sunday morning to check their kit and then make their way to the hut. Over five action-packed days, you'll receive top-notch climbing instruction and guidance as you tackle routes ranging from grade III to V.
The CIC hut itself is a self-catering 'alpine' hut, equipped with all the necessary facilities including cooking and drying facilities. After an exhilarating day of climbing, the evenings are spent in the cosy warmth of the hut. Here, you can unwind and share stories with your fellow climbers while enjoying communal dinners prepared by both participants and instructors.
Accommodating up to twenty-four people, the CIC hut provides a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for everyone. As you relax by the fireplace, you'll feel a sense of camaraderie and connection with your fellow climbers, making this experience even more memorable.
