The Vancouver Lawn Tennis & Badminton Club is excited to announce the upcoming Badminton event that will surely bring out the competitive spirit in players. Scheduled from April 5th to April 14th, 2024, this tournament will showcase the skills of top badminton enthusiasts from Vancouver and beyond. Divided into different age categories, the event will cater to players aged 30-50 from April 5th-9th, and players aged 55-85 from April 10th-14th. All players must adhere to the entry requirements and are limited to entering two events, whether it be singles or doubles, due to restricted draw sizes of 32. Participants must ensure they have an International Player Identification Number (IPIN) account to complete their registration. Late payments will incur a 20% administration fee, so it’s best to settle the entry fees promptly upon registration to avoid any additional charges. Spectators can make use of available parking options and are encouraged to attend the player's reception on Tuesday, April 9th. The dress code for the reception is smart casual attire.
Practice courts will not be available during the tournament, but players can utilize the locker rooms and Fitness Annex area for warm-ups. All food and beverage purchases during the event must be made using debit or credit cards, as the club does not accept cash payments.
