The Brisbane Netball Association is thrilled to introduce the 2024 WDS Foundation Umpire Course, a fantastic 6-week program tailored for budding umpires. This course is aimed at member club foundation umpires who are keen to delve into the world of officiating. Limited to 3 participants from each affiliated BNA club, a total of 24 lucky individuals will have the chance to hone their skills and knowledge in a supportive environment. From learning the ins and outs of the Rules of Netball to mastering hand signals, participants will be equipped with all the tools necessary to excel at a Junior game level. Moreover, practical on-court mentoring sessions will provide valuable hands-on experience for all involved. The course is set to commence on Sunday, 21st April 2024, with a mix of theory and practical sessions held at the BNA Clubhouse on specific dates until Saturday, 18th May 2024. Priced at $155 per participant, the registration fee covers essential materials such as an INF 2024 Rule book, whistle, workbook, and an Intro to Umpiring kit.
