Lagan Valley LeisurePlex is thrilled to announce the opening of entries for the 2024 Vitality Membership Lisburn Half Marathon, 10K Road Race, and Fun Run. The event is set to take place on Wednesday 19 June 2024 and promises a day of fitness and fun for all involved.
Runners looking to challenge themselves or set a new personal best will find the flat and fast routes of the Half Marathon and 10K Road Race perfect for their ambitions. For those wanting a more relaxed experience, the 3K Fun Run is an excellent way to get active with friends and family. Schools and youth groups are encouraged to join in on the fun, with a group discount available for participants.
Wheelchair and hand cycle participants are also welcome to take part in the event, ensuring inclusivity for all. The races are well-known within the running community, attracting participants from across Northern Ireland and beyond. All proceeds from the races will go towards supporting the Mayoral Charity.
Thanks to the sponsorship from the council's Vitality Membership package, participants have the option to plant a tree instead of receiving a race t-shirt, in line with the council's commitment to sustainability.
