The registration fee is $219 per player, which includes tax and a league-supplied jersey. The 15-week season is set to kick off in mid-May 2024 and conclude in August 2024, promising an exciting culmination with an end-of-season ceremony featuring individual awards and Playoff Championship accolades for standout teams.
Recognised by the Ontario Ball Hockey Federation (OBHF), participants can anticipate top-tier gameplay with D-Gel balls provided for matches. To ensure the safety and well-being of all players, limited dental and medical insurance coverage will be in effect throughout the season. Emphasizing fair play and healthy competition, the league offers a sportsmanship-focused atmosphere where athletes can engage in high-quality gameplay under the supervision of experienced officials and game staff.
With no entrance fees for players, coaches, or spectators, the Women's Ball Hockey League offers an accessible and enjoyable way to spend Thursday nights. In compliance with safety regulations, all players must wear a CSA approved hockey helmet and approved hockey gloves during gameplay. Goalies are required to have full CSA approved equipment for protection, including additional safety gear like an athletic cup, elbow pads, soft knee pads, and soccer-style shin guards.
