
The Tom Price Sporting Shooters Assn. Inc is excited to announce the upcoming 2024 SSAA (WA) Mandar State Championships, a prestigious shooting competition set to take place on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th April 2024. The event will be hosted at the Country Club Drive in Dawesville, Western Australia.
Participants are required to register bright and early at 7.30am, followed by a morning briefing at 8.30am, with the competition kicking off promptly at 9.00am. The competition features a range of disciplines including Mandar Rimfire Metallic Sights, Mandar Centrefire Metallic Sights, Mandar Rimfire Unrestricted, and Mandar Centrefire Unrestricted.
It's important to note that jacketed, partially jacketed, or electroplated ammunition will not be allowed. Disciplinary Delegates will convene on Saturday afternoon, with attendees requiring written authorisation from their Club/Branch Secretary. Each Branch is permitted a maximum of 2 voting delegates.
Registration fees stand at $15.00 per match, while the option to compete in all four divisions is also available for a fee of $50.00. Juniors will enjoy a discounted entry. Nominations must reach the organisers by COB Monday, 22nd April 2024, with various payment methods accepted.
All matches will be conducted in adherence to the SSAA WA Mandar Rulebook 2023 V4, and participants must present their SSAA Membership Cards during registration. Medals will be awarded for the top 3 places across all grades, with trophies up for grabs for two-gun aggregates and four-gun aggregates.
End-of-event awards will be distributed on Sunday, and a canteen will be open on both days for beverage needs, along with meals available for purchase at $10 per day. For those looking to camp on-site, please inform the organisers of your arrangements at the time of nomination.
