The 2024 SSAA (WA) Mandar State Championships is shaping up to be a thrilling event for all shooting enthusiasts in the Shire of Roebourne. With various shooting disciplines on offer, participants of any skill level are welcome to join in on the action.
To secure a spot in the competition, make sure to register bright and early at 7:30am, with the official kick-off at 9:00am after a morning brief at 8:30am. Remember, only certain types of ammunition are permitted for use during the matches, so be sure to check the rules beforehand.
Delegates attending the event must have written authorisation from their Club/Branch Secretary, with a maximum of 2 voting delegates per Branch. Registration fees per match are set at $15.00, or $50.00 for all four divisions. Juniors will enjoy a half-price discount to encourage youth participation.
Don't forget to submit your nominations by COB Monday 22nd April 2024 to secure your spot. Payment options include post, electronic funds transfer, or good old cash or card on the day of the event. And remember to bring your SSAA membership card for registration.
Exciting prizes such as medals for the top 3 places in all grades and trophies for two-gun and four-gun aggregates await the winners. Awards will be presented on Sunday after the completion of shooting.
For those looking to refuel during the event, a canteen will be open on both days offering drinks, and delicious meals can be purchased for $10 each day. If you're planning on camping, let the organisers know at the time of nomination to arrange accommodations.
