The Gingin Pistol Clubs Inc. is excited to announce the upcoming 13th Lever Action Silhouette State Championships, a local event organised by SSAAWA and PLARC. SSAA members are warmly invited to participate in this thrilling competition from Thursday, July 4th to Monday, July 7th, 2024.
The event kicks off with a Practice Day on July 4th, running from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Following this, participants can look forward to a Rifle Match on Friday, a Pistol Cartridge Match on Saturday, and a Small Bore Match on Sunday, each comprising 80 shots. Please bear in mind that match durations may be adjusted to fit within time constraints.
To ensure a smooth start to the action-packed days, sight-in time on match days will be open from 7:00 am to 8:15 am. The morning brief will commence at 8:45 am, with the first shot set for 9:00 am. Don't miss out on the daily medal presentations taking place at 5:00 pm.
All matches will be conducted in accordance with the most recent Rifle Metallic Silhouette rulebook, which can be conveniently accessed via the following [rulebook link]. The selection for the Lever Action Silhouette WA state team is contingent upon the top ten placements in the Lever Action Silhouette Annual State Championship.
Nominations for each 80 shot match come at an affordable rate of $30.00, while the 3-gun match registration is priced at $80.00. Juniors will enjoy a half-price discount on fees. Although early nominations are encouraged, last-minute entries and payments will still be accepted on the day of the event.
The Gingin Pistol Clubs Inc. encourages all participants to adhere to local range rules, ensuring all firearms remain uncased with actions open when not in use. The championship will take place at the Perth Lever Action Rifle Club on Perry Road, Pinjar, WA, Australia, offering convenient camping facilities complete with showers, toilets, and BBQ amenities. Limited power supply is also available on-site, with a delicious meal arranged for Friday evening.
