The 2024 SSAA (WA) Centrefire Benchrest State Championships is an exciting shooting event being hosted by Jarrahdale Sporting Shooters Benchrest Section in Jarrahdale, Western Australia. It's set to kick off on Saturday, May 25th and will run until Monday, June 3rd, offering various benchrest shooting matches across different categories.
Competitors can expect a packed schedule with a 300yds Heavy Bench match on May 25th, followed by an Unlimited category on May 26th. The Sporter category will take centre stage on June 1st, while the Light Bench and Heavy Bench categories will wrap up the event on June 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Don't forget about the Discipline Delegates Meeting on June 2nd, where delegate elections will be held. The entry fee for each match is $25, and all matches will adhere to the current SSAA Rulebook guidelines. Participants are also encouraged to assist in the smooth running of the competition.
Be sure to bring along your SSAA Membership Card on the day, as medals will be awarded as per the SSAA National rule book. Top 3 placings in all grades will receive medals, and trophies will be awarded for two-gun, three gun, and four-gun categories.
After a day of fierce competition, prizes will be presented, allowing time for any protests to be addressed. While there won't be canteen facilities available, there is ample camping space equipped with shower, toilet, and BBQ facilities, along with limited power options.
