Polar Bears Field Hockey invites athletes aged 13-18 years to join the 2024 Fall Women’s League, a competitive field hockey program in Vancouver, Canada. The league features teams in various divisions, from Premier to Division 5, allowing players to compete at their skill level and improve their game.
Athletes who sign up for this program are expected to commit to both practice and match schedules, with teams being placed in divisions based on their abilities. The season runs from September to March, with a break from early December to mid-January to accommodate holidays and tournaments.
Training sessions focus on building individual skills, while matches are designed to enhance team cohesion and consistency. Coached by experienced staff, the league also offers specialized goalie training for those interested in sharpening their skills between the posts.
Matches are held on weekends at Wright Field, UBC, with training times subject to change based on field availability. It's important for athletes to maintain consistent attendance to ensure team performance remains strong throughout the season.
