Peebles High School Sports Centre is thrilled to announce the upcoming 2024 Eyemouth Triathlon on Sunday, June 9th. Athletes can choose between the Sprint and Come & Tri events, catering to different skill levels and preferences.
For those looking for a challenge, the Sprint event offers a 750m swim, 19.14km cycle, and a 4.66km run. On the other hand, the Come & Tri event features a 400m swim, 10.88km cycle, and a 2.84km run, making it ideal for beginners or those seeking a shorter distance.
Participants will get to enjoy the scenic seaside location of Eyemouth, with the cycle route passing through the charming Coldingham and Coldingham Moor. Expect some tough climbs and thrilling descents along the way. The run will take athletes along the seafront to the harbour, with a climb around the golf course before heading back.
Parking options include nearby streets and the Co-Op carpark, while the transition area will be set up at the centre for convenience. Be sure to mark your calendars for this exciting triathlon event that promises both competitive racing and stunning views. See you at the starting line!
