Join Sudbury Rowing Club for the 142nd Sudbury International Regatta on Saturday, 3 August 2024. This annual event, held on the first Saturday of August each year, offers a thrilling 650m rowing course. Participants will race upstream from a stake boat start, tackling some tricky bends along the way.
A standout feature of the regatta is the sprint eights event, where teams compete fiercely for hip-flasks in the final 350m stretch. Spectators can take advantage of top-notch facilities, including a stadium section with comfy seating. Delicious treats such as home-baked cakes, burgers, a hog roast, ice cream, and local beer will be available for your enjoyment.
