University Of Queensland Football Club (St. Lucia - Seniors)

Players, regardless of age or skill level, to join our club and experience the joy of football.

At UQFC, we offer a wide range of playing and development opportunities for players of all ages. Our programmes cater to children as young as 6 years old, with options available all the way up to the Men’s and Women’s Queensland top League (FQPL). We also provide social football options for players aged 18 and above.

One of our key strengths is the quality of our coaching staff. We have a team of nationally and internationally qualified coaches who oversee the U13 – U18 FQ Academy & Development teams. For all other levels, we have dedicated volunteer coaches who serve as role models for our players. Our coaching philosophy, known as the UQFC WAY, emphasises player development and a positive, fun-filled approach to the game.

As a member of UQFC, you can expect to be supported by a team of professional administrators and friendly volunteers across all areas of the club. We pride ourselves on our inclusive and community-minded culture, where everyone is treated with respect and loyalty.

In addition to fostering a positive environment for our own players and coaches, we also believe in showing sportsmanship towards the opposing teams. Positive encouragement and fair play are core values that we instil in all our members.

UQFC is a large and thriving club, with over 1,400 players and more than 120 teams competing in various competitions across Brisbane. This makes us one of the largest amateur football clubs in Queensland. Our primary playing fields are located at the University of Queensland, St Lucia for seniors and Cubberla Creek in Kenmore for juniors.
