Toowoomba Little Athletics is dedicated to providing a safe and inclusive environment for children to develop their athletic skills and have a great time. With over 40 years of experience, the club offers a comprehensive programme for children aged from 3 to 17 years, regardless of their ability level. The skills learned through track and field events not only provide a solid foundation for all sports but also promote a positive and healthy lifestyle.

The Little Athletics season at Toowoomba runs from September to March, making it a perfect summer sport. The club's weekly Centre Competitions take place on Sunday afternoons starting at 1:30pm. The club is located at the O'Quinn Street Oval in Toowoomba, offering well-maintained grounds with a full-sized 400m grass running track, an electronic timing system, and all the latest athletics equipment. Additionally, the clubhouse provides canteen and restroom facilities for the convenience of athletes and families.

To encourage new families, Toowoomba Little Athletics offers a two-week free trial. This gives children the chance to experience the sport firsthand and decide if it's the right fit for them. Interested families can attend any of the Centre Competitions and sign up for the trial at the clubhouse. The club's calendar provides important dates and information for the season, including details about upcoming carnivals and regional relays.

Toowoomba Little Athletics also participates in the Queensland Government FairPlay programme. Eligible children can receive a $150 FairPlay voucher that can be used to offset their season registration fees. To utilise this voucher, parents need to complete their child's registration online and present the voucher at the clubhouse during registration.

The club's Tiny Tots Athletics programme is specifically designed for children aged 3 to 4 years. This programme not only focuses on introducing them to correct technique but also includes them in the weekly club competition programme. Led by Coach Clinton, the Tiny Tots programme is tailored to ensure these young athletes gain the most out of each session. The programme takes place during the Sunday afternoon club competition and provides exposure to various track and field events.
