Tocumwal Pony Club is found in the picturesque Murray River Town of Tocumwal, which is the gateway between New South Wales and Victoria on the Newell Highway. Our Club is affiliated with the Pony Club Association of Victoria and is a member of the Northern Zone and has been established for over 40 years.
Our Pony Club grounds are on the town’s Recreation Reserve where we can enjoy an all-weather surface which incorporates a full cross country course. The natural bush setting for the cross country course includes an ornamental lake, a high levy bank, a steep sand hill and plenty of bush riding. Each year we host our Horse Trials for all grades and in 2003 our club hosted the Victorian State Championships.
Due to the availability and size of our Pony Club grounds we are able to offer riders the opportunity to experience the many types of horse riding sports including Flat Riding/Dressage, Showjumping, Games plus a number of training schools and competitions are held each year.
Our Rally Days are normally held on the 1st Sunday of each month except for January with extra rallies held on the 3rd Sunday of February, March, April, May, October & November giving members plenty of opportunity to ride during the year.
